Mmm, i feel the normies mental fortitude is super low.

I would be more scared of any companions going crazy than about the zombies to be honest.

If i had a bunker filled with goods, i would stay there until they were all exhausted and then go find another one instead of risking myself. The radio one looked super useful and safe too.

I think whats happening to Rii is exactly what happened to Yuki before her mental state broke down. The others did describe that it was temporary at first then they realized too late that it became permanent. And Megu-nee's diary implies that Yuki is even more childish than before

This... is so similar to what happened to Yuki.
And Miss Sakura blamed herself for being responsible for that.
What if she meant that more literally than just enabling her? What if she actually did something?
That pamphlet, too, described several different kinds of bio-weapons they were developing. What if they have one that affects the psyche?

I knew it! As soon as she had that breakdown after the explosion I was wondering why the manga didn't dwell on her mental state more. Like she was obviously crumbling under the stress and them eventually being alive wouldn't instantly fix the damage to her psyche after so much trauma. I was so confused because one chapter she was in the fetal position screamimg that she couldn’t go on anymore and the next she was having tea with the others right as rain - they didn't even show her reaction to them getting back alive! When she started talking about megu nee while Yuki had all but stopped I felt so sad because I knew things were going to get worse for all of them
