I'm ... quite surprised, it's something that I have seen dozens of times, yet it feels unique and the art has heart to it, is the best way I could describe it. (it's likely going to be a manga that just exists to promote the novel, but I hope for another Too many losing Heroines manga success here)

Not "Love to a boyfriend" but more "Love to Fall In Love", huh...
I still don't support her as such, despite he says "She doesn't do anything wrong" and like "Idols deceiving their fans".
That's quite a gap of understanding there. With the idols, it'd be parasocial to get expectation like "Please become my lover". I believe most of them aren't crazy enough to think the idols will just fall for them. Basically, it's "a business" and the fans know that.

But individual? She's not selling her skill, nor singing, nor even selling a service of joshikohsei business. She actually leads the boys with expectation that they will fall for her and she has planned to break their heart afterward. The protag is just being a staple of "Visual Novel Protagonist" and projecting the readers. Therefore, "she doesn't do anything wrong".

I understand if a girl being polite yet doesn't want to lead any boys the wrong way. Some girls just want to be friendly. But this girl? Nah, it's still wrong.

I suppose it's predictable you can kind of guess what's going on and they're all have some kind of connection to him or most of them. It's going to win them all over one way or other

Not sure why people are complaining about this story. As an school harem romcom, this story started off far more interesting than 99% of its peers. The characters are not mere tropes, which is rare by itself, and even the way MC handled this chapter's reveal was unique and interesting.
Are the people complaining those who just want the umpteenth Love Hina remake with new skins? Those tropes were getting tired by the time Nisekoi came out already, it's time to bury them.
