I actually really appreciate that the Yabecchi has consistently refused to take his relationships further with the high school girls. I do hope that we get a time skip or something to show them after graduation, but pleeeeeeeeease don’t do anything while they are still students.

I’ve always disliked romances where there is a substantial power gap. Like boss to subordinate, owner to slave, teacher to student, employer to employee, etc. It’s because that’s where sexual harassment or sexual abuse most commonly happens, and even IF portrayed as a genuine romance it still makes you wonder. I also worked teaching at a high school when I was in my mid-20’s. Let me tell you, high school kids are stupid when it comes to relationships. I mean, most people are stupid when it comes to romance, but I saw high schoolers do some really stupid stuff to stay in relationships.

Either its how the manga is translated or Yabe seems to have an angrier tone in his voice or forceful. Like He is trying to push MC away from him. Yeah she is a minor. but she is in grade 11 so of course she will be attracted to a mid twenty year old man. He should see no problem with dating and marrying a former student. Shit, most of the students expect them to get together or Fujiwara and Yabe lol. MC is too forceful too the point Yabe could lose his job pretty easily and he'd never be able to be a teacher again and would probably have to register as some sort of sex offender even when he has done nothing and age of consent is probably 16 or lower in Japan knowing them lol.

@pantsu_invader yes, but it makes sense: gyarus always have this flashy/carefree attitude in general, plus she never minded from the beginning of their “friendship” to show her panties / fell her breasts / cling to him all the time / ecc; for him, probably, it was something that she did a lot of times...maybe not very sensitive of him, but can’t really blame him for it.

And in this regard, good that she spoke clearly about her feelings. And good thing that he spoke clearly about his moral (and legal) rules again.
