i don't think gym class ever helped me in school but other than hard-ass coaches, some basic stuff now and then prolly would've helped/surprised more ppl wouldn't be motivated with like wanting to lose weight since it def feels like i barely gained weight as a teen compared to now

tbh after like senior high most coaches didn't care and just marked everyone there for attendance (since we were in the type of school where some of tehm got double salary for teaching social studies instead so they didn't care, or maybe hte yfocused all their 'coaching' efforts if you were actually part of a sport team lol) and we just were left o our own devices, i only gained weight after my dog past away since i went on more walks when she was still around (i think tech there might've been some 'nutrition' classes but prolly nothing too practical helpful, and even in culinary arts i think we just like sold brownies/nothing too healthy/didn't learn many recipes i'd still use today)

lol i wouldn't have done it everyday but if they just had a projector screen or laid down some mats and we were able to use our smartphones and just watch vids of those '5 minute yoga stretches' that prolly would've helped

Don't believe their lies - there's been plenty of proper scientific studies now that show that fatness is way more about genetics than exercise or what you eat. Evidence: fat fucks who can dance, do sports and run fast, skinny fucks who can't.
Health is way more important than size, be well. :3

While the genetic part is true (albeit I think you are generalizing too much, these are predispositions, but most don't make weight uncontrollable if you wish for it, and this is stated by the same studies I found^1), you shouldn't dismiss the importance of exercise in life (and also proper nutrition ), even if the scope of the exercise isn't to loose weight or fat, it's still linked to a series of health benefits and increased stamina. Also increasing muscular mass increase overall metabolism. It's in fact most probable that the "fat fucks who can dance, do sports and run fast" (your words) are people that despite issue on weight control, are people exercising regularly.
BTW genetic itself is not a black box, there are multiple studies that various factor can trigger or subdue expressions, and these can sometimes be passed on to descendants. In fact there are many studies that shows like imbalanced diet of progenitor, cause epigenetic changes linked to metabolical diseases, and these changes are passed on to children.
^1 For example
An Important recognized gene is the FTO gene (OMIM*610966), known as “the fat mass and obesity associated gene”, which is an obesity susceptibility gene [45]. However, the gene shows the strongest known effect on common types of obesity, despite some variants of the gene increasing obesity risk, while others lower it. Nevertheless, the effects of FTO depend on the environment. Even high-risk forms of FTO have little effect on body fat among people who obtain lots of exercise or eat low-fat diets. The association between FTO and obesity is documented in different populations

Fat fucks can neither dance, nor run fast. And it's all about their diet.

Bro, who give a fuck about gym class and you are being fat fuck. I go to gym 5 times/week and 175 cm - 71kg but feeling lonely, miserable, jacking off to rise of eros after workshift and cringeposting on mangadex. Just live a happy life and make a good contribution to your community so people love you. (Well unless you are athlete or male strippers lmao)

True af. I gained like 30 kilos after 7 years out of highschool.
