Eh, were you not there last chapter, when their team got hit with the level reset while in a boss fight?ok so he wants to be level 1 for no real reason, mystery solved, I can drop this finally
My guess is that he wants to be able to fight properly against the monster that "wiped out" his party, since it seems to have a way to cancel out dungeon buffs and skills. Having levels would make him unable to know his actual capabilities. Kind of like the opposite of the whole shedding off a crazy heavy amount of ankle and wrist weights trope; facing against that monster when you are high leveled is like suddenly putting on a bunch of those ankle and wrist weights.ok so he wants to be level 1 for no real reason, mystery solved, I can drop this finally
Seems like a carefree group of chunnibyou goobers just before they recieved a reality check.

So let me give a different example, you discover that money can be evil, and money did cause some fallout in your life, and now you decide to use no money forever in any matter whatsoever. Could you not still use money but just in a different way? Not getting any levels is genuinely hampering himself, if being level 1 is SO imperative that he has to actively do it so that he does not become and idiot and repeat whatever happened that day, why stay as an adventurer to begin with? Just don't let it happen again, approach it differently, ANYTHING. From the looks of it, he wants to tackle all the shit that wiped them out again but with him as level 1 and someone else (the gyaru girl). How is that any different? "She can do it because she's goated and a prodigy and cute and X and Y" NOTHING CHANGED. It's even worse, not so much for him, maybe, but she WILL be there, she was introduced as a character, she won't be here for our eyes to see just to not be added on the final battle, so he'll bring a young civilian not acclimated to combat TO GET LEVEL RESET MID BATTLE TOO. What's the upside here?My guess is that he wants to be able to fight properly against the monster that "wiped out" his party, since it seems to have a way to cancel out dungeon buffs and skills. That's just my guess.
I'm guessing the one with the pigtails. The question is "Which one died to teach it... ?"
He's raising his skill, rather than his Skill and Level, he's also getting better at using all the beginner level techniques and magic. This is such a common trope, I don't understand how you're missing it; it was the Pikachu versus Raichu fight (evolving early for better stats versus staying small and learning more skills), Rock Lee and his weights...So let me give a different example, you discover that money can be evil, and money did cause some fallout in your life, and now you decide to use no money forever in any matter whatsoever. I agree. I'm just giving a guess on why he's doing what he's doing, even if it doesn't seem logical. I mean, logic isn't a strong point in many fantasy stories. So let me give a different example, you discover that money can be evil, and money did cause some fallout in your life, and now you decide to use no money forever in any matter whatsoever. just because it's similar does not make it good, I'm not missing it, I'm just not pretending that it's awesome and cool and hardcore and metal as hellHe's raising his skill, rather than his Skill and Level, he's also getting better at using all the beginner level techniques and magic. He wants to be level one because the boss on floor 100 has the ability to completely nullify all the stat boosts you get from levels. He wants to become strong enough to kill that guy and to do that he has to stay at level one so that way he doesn't get used to the stat boost you get from high levels.ok so he wants to be level 1 for no real reason, mystery solved, I can drop this finally
