To those criticizing MC getting flustered when he's already had sex with his wife, even though I'm not married, even I know there are tons of new things spouses can explore together as they're married, and those new things bring new, memorable experiences that can spice up their marriage. Just because both of them have already done the deed doesn't mean both of them are immune to any other scandalous events or activities.

Obviously, MC has never seen his wife in a maid outfit, nor in a naked apron before this chapter, and she has never worn either of them up to then, as well. Of course, they'd get self-conscious stepping into something new and are overwhelmed with their own emotions to process it all. That's the best part in exploring it with someone you trust your everything with and not just some stranger.

It's honestly sad how people don't see the appeal in that these days.

The only thing I question is her being too embarrassed to stick to it. I mean, my wife would be embarrassed, granted, but she wouldn't wuss out if it was just her and me there.

This wife here was apparently drunk when she got the outfits and only just sobered up as she changed into the naked apron, hitting her cleared mind with embarrassment and conscientiousness at full blast. I haven't gotten so drunk in my life to have like that happen to me to really understand it, but I imagine it's like waking up the morning after a drunk one-night stand and regretting it severely after the fact.

So while I sort of understand the regret of a decision being made through drunken judgment, I do agree with you about sticking through the bit, especially when it's with your spouse who you're supposed to share such experiences with. They can talk about the pros and cons of romantic cosplay after all is said and done.

Great chapter, but this line has been bothering me. WHAT DO YOU MEAN "YOU THINK"!?

He knows what he got. He's trying to be a properly-humble japanese person about it, but it's hard to downplay.
Best he can do is "I think my wife's wonderful" instead of "I have the best GD wife on this effing archipelago! Suck it losers!"
