perhaps you are right, I can't see it that way because of how often you get in Manga girls calling boys perverts and is grating.....let's see if the author goes that way and you are right or if is just tropes being tropes.

This feels particularly weird with Seto and Amana because they've had sleepovers a few times before. Granted they slept in separate rooms that one time but there was that other time they stayed up all night and conked out on the couch together with no issue. The two could easily have just partied in seo's room and have amane go back to her own room when they're done.

The only way I can justify it is that amane is cheering on Kotoko and doesn't want to accidentally trigger any flags with Seo.
