His actions here has definitely even further destroyed future conflicts from the main story.

I remain convinced that he will somehow destroy the final boss before the story "starts" as intended.

If he were serious about not being involved not gather attention, he should be at least 3 countries away from the main story entire cast lol

Above is a snippet from this/next chapter, the internal monologue of MC from WN.
It's manga-editor induced trope idiocy. The WN actually addressed this somewhat.

Manga doesn't have a way to show internal monologuing.
So what appears to "make sense" in the authors head as words on page -- falls apart on manga storyboard.
That's also fault or original author forgetting to envision scenes where people talk and interact like normal people.
Regardless of what is going on in their heads -- people still verbalize and communicate.

I blame split chapters and poor format conversion. As MC is actually thinking things through.
Although that trope of "women only being on screen to narrate about guy offscreen" trope is stupid.
Thanks for this share, yeah something losing from removing dialogue

Waifu wars?
Those women were emergency food?

They certainly don't look like Paimon to me.

Manga actually can do that because you have text and image content...but this is probably lazy editing/writing from the manga adaptation team, sadly.
Plenty of mangas have the characters ruminate over things with a thought bubble showing their thoughts.
