I find it annoying when MC's think of their reincarnations into a game as "still a game, I should just let the plot go as written in the game"
It's irritating the longer it last.
The world is no longer just a game or story, it's now your reality.
These MC's struggling to decide if they should do something or not because they fear "I might deviate the plot!" Is so frustrating.
Especially when it's in those moments where characters are getting beat up, or about to be put in a situation that is bad.
When the MC knows something bad will happen to them and still doesn't do anything cause they want the plot to not change.
And when they let bad situations happen and innocent people get hurt, but the MC is just like "they are just mobs they aren't in the main cast or even side characters so they don't matter"
Like they just let monsters attack cities and are like "I knew this was coming but I didn't do anything" like bro those aren't game characters anymore they are real people now, and you just letting them get hurt, traumatized and possibly die!
I really hope he gets over this whole thing eventually and just decide to be involved.
Because let's be real, he's probably gonna let some bad disaster happen despite knowing it's coming, and once people get hurt he'll be like "what should I do?! Should I do something? BuT tHe PloT!!!"
And then he'll only make a decision when someone is about to seriously get hurt or die, probably a random civilian or a main character....
