I like a MC who have a goal and is considerate of his entourage.

His goal is stupid and pointless. His existence clutters the timeline. And all the prequel sidequests he’s doing are obviously things the game MC should be doing to level up.

Being sheepish, working a low wage job, in a medieval setting is stupid. The smells emanating from that gate daily would be horrendous. He’d be better off adventuring. But no, he wants to lurk on the female heroes, which further pollutes the timeline.

The goal here is a brain dead premise that always brings the isekai’d MCU into the actual hero role.
