Before this arc it was already questionable that she is smart, during this arc she showed absolute idiocy. Author just slapped conventional "knowledge" (ability to re-create TECH).

You know why some authors have enough courage to create "smart" characters? Because they themselves lack intelligence.
You have to be at a certain IQ level to be able to re-create "smart" people beyond your level. But creating geniuses? Virtually impossible if you didn't ghost them step by step for some time and they didn't decide to play a fool while being observed.
Also it's much easier to create normal people with one extreme (be it fast processing, combination or memory retention, but combination on itself and/or even better to combine everything is usually out of our reach, something like an ant guessing what humans are doing).

We the normal people can only do long and odious job of simulation of the people smarter than us. For example usually smart people make better unique connections and their information processing speed is faster as well as memory retention ability.
While i need a minute to solve this puzzle, smarter person can do it in 30-40-50 seconds. While i contemplate on idea and can come up with 3 cons and 3 pros in 5 minutes smarter person can come up with 5 and maybe even better ones.
