Depends really. If there was a lot of incest like here on earth it could be an issue. But if they're civilization is young enough, or fantasy magic or the divines just hand wave such issues away, there really isn't much worry for genetic mutations due to incest.

It's like they just slammed a tough-looking head on top of a toothpick-built body, kind of like a bobblehead, almost.

I knew I'd read this chapter before, but I needed a refresher.

So, this isn't a series about his mother whoring him out, it's about his mother sharing her favorite toy and only one person seeming to actually care about him. I think the author needs to rename the series, because this isn't a harem, it's a sorority with only one toy being passed around.

Anyway, I don't know how to feel about the MC. It seems them being the main sexual objects has become more common with ecchi/adult manga lately, and people have been throwing constant complaints about the reverse happening more.

True that. The logic is that if people will be complaining about objectifying women, then we'll just have to objectify man instead. In the end we just want some degeneracy and either way works for us. It was never about portraying specifically women in a submissive way.

It's not a big surprise. Incest is never going to naturally be widespread, due to various factors, but the sheer amount of disgust and vitriol thrown its way in modern times is not natural either. It's a hildrenproduct of decades of eugenicist indoctrination, the last major holdover from back when anyone took eugenics seriously. There's no reason cultures that have never had to deal with eugenics would have such a major reaction to it.

You know children born of incest have a WAY higher rate of birth defects, right? It's been taboo since way before eugenics was a concept. Granted, it definitely wasn't AS looked down upon, especially between cousins it was common, but look what happened to the Habsburgs, jesus christ.
