If there's one gun trope I could live without it's aiming for non-vital spots. When shooting a leg, if that bullet or the damage it causes nicks your femoral artery open you'll bleed out in minutes. Same for a lower abdomen shot or a kidney shot. You get the idea. Bullets can go clean through without doing much, but they can also deflect inside a body and go wild, damaging a ton of things, cutting open arteries, and causing severe bleeding. So fucking dumb.
