If there's one battle trope I could live without it's a sword being drawn faster than a flying bullet. So fucking dumb.

If there's one gun trope I could live without it's aiming for non-vital spots. When shooting a leg, if that bullet or the damage it causes nicks your femoral artery open you'll bleed out in minutes. Same for a lower abdomen shot or a kidney shot. You get the idea. Bullets can go clean through without doing much, but they can also deflect inside a body and go wild, damaging a ton of things, cutting open arteries, and causing severe bleeding. So fucking dumb.

Heck, with special bullets that basically open like flowers on contact - even if they "go clean through" they still leave a "war crime" behind. Dropping dead after being shot in the belly once is stupid, but not dying after being shot multiple times and behaving like you got shot by damn rubber bullets or like round least damaging pellets/something is equally dumb.
