AAAaaahhhh I can't take this suspense! I really hope there's some twist where that particular goto turns out to be a good guy or something, because if it just continues foreshadowing and layering on how sinister the cannibal villagers and cannibal gotos are and it turns out that there's no red herring or twist and they are just cannibals who are going to try and eat the detective's daughter, just like has been thickly insinuated the last volume and a half, I'll find that tooo frustrating.
It's similar to the feeling of watching a horror movie and getting frustrated watching the characters intentionally split up or go alone into a dangerous place.
And especially if the cannibals end up eating the main character's daughter just like they've been dropping hints about the whole time I'll be very frustrated indeed.
