I don't mind if they reboot the original storyline from here and go into a different direction. The final invasion arc sucked so much and went nowhere.

The last time a series i liked crashlanded this badly with a sequel and ruined a lot of what came before it randomly, was probably Greatest Teacher Onizuka.

I really started to lose interest in this after this arc started. This Spin of never made sense canon wise but I stayed for the new, cool alien fights and to see what Oku comes up with. Now it feels like the series wasn't popular enough and they tried to garner old readers by including Kurono and Reika again.

The other sequels were pretty fine all the way, but Paradise Lost torpedod itself into the ground when the author included his other manga protagonists and made Onizuka a real loser with an inferiority complex with nothing redeeming him. Think 178.5 is the actual ending of the manga. I often use Comick io, since they often have the official rips to check on stuff.
