After having been following Gantz Since 2006 I really felt an extreme happines when i saw that Gantz was going to release a new spin-off, but now, after finished this Story, i cannot hide my dissapontment; it was supposed that the magaka was a Master after created one of my favorite manga, but it looks like he tried to add "politically correct" characters, i don't have any problem with female characters but yes i have with a poor construction on their story, most of the decision in the story were made with no logic, even the name of the principal character is the F*** same than in Gantz.
In conclusion, bad decisions for a good intentioned spin-off.

although i agree with you in some ways, the manga wasn't actually terrible. wasn't as good as the base manga but it added to the lore slightly.
and also, you're saying that like gantz ever felt like it had good direction to begin with xD it didn't. the author literally made stuff up as he went. he only started to put structure to the plot about 2/3 of the way through the manga lol

alas this had potential but, it ended up not really going anywhere. it could have given us a whole different perspective to the alien saga.

well, time to read E now. i hear it's quite good.
