And now... it's over, and I feel like the story itself might have lost the plot a bit, becoming rather abstract in what the hell was even going on. Tech and magic and other metaphysics just kinda working off vibes.
Good start, nice universe, some nice stories. But the last third of the manga is full of exposition, lore dump, flashbacks and other stuff like that. And it's way too much, as if the author did try to bite more than he/she can chew. or as if he/she's trying to cram everything before the axe since there is a character introduced and unused, and some elements introduced at the start don't feel coherent with the end :
Everything with isana/frean and the village, the tower in first volume, what are the angels (weapons or something descending from the tower, and so on
I'm not even sure it's a coherent story/lore, to be fair.
It's very light on the "yuri" for a yurihime manga, also.
I can usually read past art styles that are my favorite if the story is good enough. But naw not this one. The beautiful art going on in this manga and then the bitch slap across my eye balls from the androids 20” waiste and 80” hips made me want to hurl on instinct.
