I'd be very surprised if he didn't. The "No body shown in the final smash" at the end of the chapter, the fact that it's the same girl(+friend of) MC cares about, it being the giants they're fighting, who MC is also fighting as well, if he didn't show up and they just died I think it'd be more funny than anything else.

Who knows, Miki might die, but she prob gets to survive so MC can show off his food's healing power.

they were gone for a month and are at a whole different place. i'd rather feel the Saint might be able to pull some stunt by her strong feeling than the MC and troupe arriving to save the day.

it would have worked better if the spot they teleported to would have been right at the battle of the Saint + Archer and the giant, but it seems the author deliberately decided not to go for that. and while Canaan will learn some Space-Time Magic enabling them to teleport wherever, it was mentioned she's in need of resting so that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

unless the author decided to make the previous chapter happen much earlier, i just don't feel MC being the hero here.

My guess is, the ripped into shreds girlfriend is dying and only the healer girl lives. This way the healer girl has a trauma, which is a good thing for the protag of a harem series. Now he can emotionally heal her.

I wonder if there's a limit to how much of an injury Suzuno can heal. The grievously injured Miki suffered a destructive dismemberment of her limbs, there are no clean cuts that could be easily reattached by magic or something let alone find the missing limbs, so the necessary healing is basically complete regrowth of everything that's missing.

This is definitely a set up for someone else to intervene though. Maybe Tsukuru, somehow.
