How does it make sense for him to have a 100 Million just sitting in his pocket when he only got to the town a day earlier? That's more than the winning bid for the S class Holy Maiden, and she was purchased by a country. That's defense budget kinda money, nuclear submarine money, aircraft carrier money. Are you telling me he just walked up to the market and sold enough dragon bones to tank the region's economy and it happened off screen?

I myself don't know how it works but my best guess is that it's about the 'Equivalent Exchange' skill he got. Probably it can actively convert whatever he currently has on him into anything with equal value depending on his current context. So whatever material/ingredient he has can be converted into its gold-value in the world. He actually used the skill to make his clothes from the raw monster materials he collected.

---Or it simply is the money provided by the kingdom before he got kicked out

It would basically tank the entire economy with the money he just inserted into the 1 shop. Also insane noone questioned how he had more money then kingdoms.

Like others mentioned, all of this makes no sense. I mean, I didnt expect much, but holy hell this story is bad. fricking friend of the girls father sold her off to some stranger and got 100 million for it. You are a slave trader, so make her disappear and give her a new life. thats all you do as a fricking slave trader scum. The MC fighting so many useless fights when he could just cast dismantle the moment he sees someone. why not help the bandits for a different story? why not burn the whole slave market down for a different story? all this copy pasta BS makes this genre so boring, even though it would have so much potential.

Oh god... They're so blatant about ripping off other stories that they just expect us to understand how it all works... The author doesn't even bother justifying things because they know we've seen it all a thousand times before

It's probably clearer in the source LN/WN. I think the mangaka concluded that it is so trivial that he decided to just brush through it (probably did not want to dedicate panels or pages just to explain it)

The gacha machine has got to be the stupidest way I’ve seen someone get a skill, lol. And it’s not because I haven’t seen it before. There have been several stories that have something similar, it in an immersive way. There was no preamble to a gacha system, and he literally could’ve just gotten the skill using his “commit” skill from cooking. It would’ve been more immersive that a random gacha machine that came out of nowhere.
