No tf it's not it sucks ass and I hate the horrible friend trope or how couples never sit down and jus have a 1 to 1. And like fmc will always get shit friends idk why that's so common

The girls have no right to beat up the mc after they told his gf that she should have switched to the guy that confessed to her that day, it’s because of people like them that the mc got to that point

Her friends are also pretty awful. They were giving her flak for not accepting some hunk athlete's confession, within earshot of the MC, and one of them even "joked" about having her just dump the MC if a better guy than him comes along ("just switch teams").
Then they had the gall to act like it's entirely his fault for getting insecure about that, they're honestly pretty damn trashy.

Honestly, yeah the MC is a little bit wimpy but that's understandable with how he's literally a bunny and how everyone around him is an asshole so what's nice is this whole thing almost got resolved in one chapter. Fuck does that mean? If the "nice one" they are talking about is a man because they were talking about men then why switch teams? It doesn't make any sense. Imo it should've been "if a nice girl" or something idk. I wonder if it's a translation issue or the raws are just like this.

Cat isn't a scumbag, she's just a cat. Prickly but loyal, playful but dangerous. Once she realized that Rabbit is, well, a Rabbit, her whole demeanor changed, and even got flustered when she got saved.
The humans are pretty common manga mobs, but that's to be expected. I get her friends, too, they're pretty common characters. They roll their eyes at the guy their friend likes, but they want him to be good for her and are annoyed if he isn't.
All told, I don't think the manga's full of unlikable people. The ones who you don't like are the ones you're not supposed to, because they're the antagonists. The sister and the main girl's male admirers are the obstacles standing in the way of their relationship, and you're not supposed to
