I don't normally criticize Gate but Itami's interaction with Tyuule was such a plot device. He saw how that prince treated women but he doesn't seem to care. Thus, the war surely continues as Tyuule keeps drowning the prince to the depth of hell with her.
But tbf, she did commit too much war crime to switch side conveninently just bc Itami happens to reach his hands to her. I'm sure a lot of ppl would say dumb stuffs as usual like "boring mc with harem" again or something similar if that happened.
So I feel very mix about this situation.

Hm itami should have been the one to kill ogres with a weapon so that prince could have seen the jsdf wont have any problem with those ogres but finishing ogres with magic isn't an evidence to prove prince wrong
