Why the hell is Tame considered as a trash skill? Like sure defeating monsters to tame them might be considered hard, but then you add status upgrade from taming, this can snowball really fast, and is an overkill.
I mean you can just beat and tame rats until you're strong enough to beat stronger monsters and do that again and again.
Any shmuck with the least presence of the brain can get overpowered.

Because you first need to beat and tame something that's worth it. That would be a LOT of rats if you only get a fraction of their abilities. Hundreds, maybe thousands. And you have to keep doing it for it to snowball, meaning taking on stronger and stronger things. Could easily get more dangerous than you get stronger.

He only beat the wolf because he knew it's attacks and patterns (which shouldn't actually make sense because its not a programmed creature, but lets ignore that...), the C ranker maid even had some trouble.

I would typically be having fun poking at the trash story for the purpose of having a good old Mystery Science Theater 3000 style good time after skimming through.

But I'm not even moving past the first page. When trash is paired with trash, there's not even a lot of good honest fun to be had about poking at the story's holes when so many other holes have been punctured in.

This is just as bad as malicious localization where a translator chooses to re-author a story. A bad MTL with zero effort, no quality control and slapped unto watermarks everywhere is just as bad to me.

I wouldn't mind an MTL assistance, in the sense of speeding up the translation process and then a quick double check to ensure everything is in line followed by a proofread. It's just the reality of new technology becoming available. You should implement it in your general effort to better improve the quality of your work where it's reasonable.

I'm upset he claims to have repelled the wolf. As a tamer, he will already be suspected as potentially having it already tamed and ordered the attack; if he ever uses it again, this is now a problem. The best solution would be to have tamed it Infront of her, second best is honesty that you just finished taming it now.

If you want to go the suspicious route, there's no way to tell if you'd already tamed it and are pretending to in front of her. I doubt there's a visible or audible announcement of it.

First 3 chapters were well translated apart from [dame] and has no copy promotion pages then this one the quality just kinda felt off. pages cut off, duplicate promotion pages, watermarks all over the place, and worst of all garlewolf????

I think the idea is since it's a non-combat class and since most other tamers don't train other combat skills then they never "realized" this potential, just keep taming small animals or labor animals with little to no benefit but it's such a weak ass trope at this point.

That one also has him being a taming supergenius (from a hidden village where everybody is even more overpowered? I may be conflating a couple of others in there) and he's contracting with the 'God races' - basically the strongest of "beast" races which shoots his power way, way up.

With this, you still get a fraction of the tamed creatures strength, it appears...but what fraction? And if you tamed rats, let's say, how many would you need to show any change? And you also have to beat it in combat, first. It's hard to beat weak creatures without killing them and stronger ones can pretty easily kill you.

The WN does a better job of explaining things. Basically MC leveled up the skill a ton due to taming something so powerful.

Wasn't it also considered trash to everyone because they think it can only be used on regular animals? Its only later on in the game's original plot that they learn it can be used on monsters as well.
