I wonder if the story is hinting that one of the other dating sim characters might come across Machino's big sister and think it's actually Machino if they look alike. Might explain why she left Machino on read but maybe I'm just overthinking it 😅

4 chapters in and no updates on the other four heroines. It's been a few days story wise. They can't be in a good spot.

Actually brings up a fascinating point about the incongruency in their relationship and I started to get excited by the potential. But like... are we actually looking at peak? I somehow don't think so. The sensation I've gotten thus far is like, more nuanced than slop but still pretty cut-out.
Still, if executed well this concept could very quickly turn this series into something real.

Things felt a little off when Machino had to cover for her inability to cook when she had done so in the game. It struck me as a little deceptive but I did not expect the manga to go full on into exploring and critiquing that difference in their relationship!
Kudos to the author for thinking through something lesser romance writers would've handwaved!

Actually, the end of the chapter adresses that.
The princess loves MC because from her POV they have shared almost a year together, suporting and getting to know each other... For MC's POV it was just some hours. Possibly not even a whole day, as she only spent 3 days playing the game and maxed her relationship with all the other girls.
So they all love an idealized version of MC.
