At this rate, Souma is gonna become like the MC from Chronicles of an Aristocrat Reborn in Another World, Cane, who's first Bride Candidate, the first princess, has taken to scolding him, telling him not to do anything strange. In all of Star Dragon Mountain Range, Nadel is the only dragon without wings. She is an eastern dragon, known as a Ryuu, while everyone else is a typical western dragon, with wings. As a demigod, Tiamat knows alot, and knows all of this, but she would rather let destiny unfold naturally, rather than interfere. This leads to two things -

1. Every dragon besides Tiamat *and her best friend, Pai, bully her because she has no wings, calling her "useless" and a "worm". This is why she shuts herself in her cave, watching idol performances from the Gran Chaos Empire.

2. Souma is meant to meet her, as he's the one that frees her from her own mental prison, and tells her that she's a Ryuu. Telling her now would take that away from Souma.

So that means Souma will essentially have 2 dragon wives - Juna, though the blood has diluted some.

It's revealed later that basically Juna and her family are descended from Ryuus, rather than western dragons like dragonnewts.

Not that I'm aware of. To clarify it's due to Juna's grandmother being Duke Wolter, not her merchant parents.

Ryuus look like sea serpents, so Souma speculated Duke Wolter's ancestors were misidentified as sea serpents but were actually Ryuus themselves. However Duke Wolter and her family don't have dragon transformation like true dragons do, which would allow them to fly. Dragonnewts don't have dragon transformation either, but can fly because they're born with wings. Western dragons can fly in both human and dragon form because both forms have wings.
I myself would guess Duke Wolter and her family's proficiency with water magic/water combat, combined with their command of the Navy for decades/centuries comes from being descendants of sea serpents/Ryuus.
