Having too overpowered characters is dull.
Not only that but this feels so ass pull. We're supposed to feel like they got their just desserts and paying for their crimes (Which are many) and yet we keep getting cockblocked into "Oh they had another powerlevel" Like why didn't this guy get that form when he was first hit with the megabeam?

At this rate it'll be ch150 before the first "bad" otherworlder gets offed. I have a feeling this scumbag will get off for ages too and he's the "weakest" one.

It's very funny to me having two characters fight each-other whose powers are essentially "if you kill me I can unleash my true power".
I get the feeling badman's power was an afterthought in the novel cause the first time MC beamed him and he nearly died instead of transforming he just got yeeted away. Like much of this series the writing has been inconsistant and deus ex machinas.

so in the end, our MC will absorb the heroes he defeats and kills to get stronger. meanwhile, this Antagonist #1 had been declared the weakest. sorry, but this plot device is so frequent, it's just boring, and yet, massive destruction is necessary to actually kill him. overpowered battles between overpowered characters to become even more overpowered. >.>

Because that would ruin the tension. Which is roughly at the level of a wet sponge. And this is what happens if every beat of the battle has to be solved by some new power or ability that only wins because it's stronger. You get a stupid amount of powerlevels.

Getting stronger to solve a problem only works once per arc without throwing pacing and tension out of the window. Maybe two or three times if it's a complete story. Not every battle. Not multiple times within a battle.

I lost alot of the hope when the teacher forbade him from absorbing all those lizardmen bodies earlier, I feel like so many of these later battles would have been cake walks for the MC for her retarded reasoning back then. It's like "You have otherworlders with insane levels that can take out countries on their own but you better not absorb these bodies cause that would be wrong" they are dead bodies he's not freakin murderhoboing towns to reap dead.

Dark Souls 3 moment: it's the Final Battle against the protag but you're playing as the Soul of Cinder.

Why is this guy still here? He should have been dead 30 chapters ago

100% Agree. Such a shitty plot point. Dude absorbed the Earth Dragon to get started in the first place. Could've had that as a way to get a defensive ability or slightly better stats, but as people are saying this writer is scatterbrained as possible. What a waste of the artist's skills made apparent on the Elf Queen sisters on this junk.

The Abyss lore had me actually go "oh this is pretty fucking cool" only to have some "this isn't even my final form" bullshittery with the "weakest" antagonist.

Also, if he gains his regen ability, it will make it far harder to visit the Abyss king, which ruins one of the main aspects of the story.

I'll blitz through the last few chapters that are out atm to catch up but I'm probably hurling this in the dropped category if it doesn't get better. What a waste, but with the "MC is a paragon of virtue but the other summoned heroes are shitbags" trope I should've assumed from the start this would be mid at best.

Jeez this writing is so bad.

This manga is not worth reading glad I dropped it I was just slipping to see if it improves but looks like it's becoming even worst
