Not only that but this feels so ass pull. We're supposed to feel like they got their just desserts and paying for their crimes (Which are many) and yet we keep getting cockblocked into "Oh they had another powerlevel" Like why didn't this guy get that form when he was first hit with the megabeam?Having too overpowered characters is dull.
I get the feeling badman's power was an afterthought in the novel cause the first time MC beamed him and he nearly died instead of transforming he just got yeeted away. Like much of this series the writing has been inconsistant and deus ex machinas. It's very funny to me having two characters fight each-other whose powers are essentially "if you kill me I can unleash my true power".

Because that would ruin the tension. Which is roughly at the level of a wet sponge. And this is what happens if every beat of the battle has to be solved by some new power or ability that only wins because it's stronger. You get a stupid amount of powerlevels. Not only that but this feels so ass pull. I lost alot of the hope when the teacher forbade him from absorbing all those lizardmen bodies earlier, I feel like so many of these later battles would have been cake walks for the MC for her retarded reasoning back then. It's like "You have otherworlders with insane levels that can take out countries on their own but you better not absorb these bodies cause that would be wrong" they are dead bodies he's not freakin murderhoboing towns to reap dead.Because that would ruin the tension. Getting stronger to solve a problem only works once per arc without throwing pacing and tension out of the window. Maybe two or three times if it's a complete story. Not every battle. Not multiple times within a battle.
100% Agree. Such a shitty plot point. Dude absorbed the Earth Dragon to get started in the first place. Could've had that as a way to get a defensive ability or slightly better stats, but as people are saying this writer is scatterbrained as possible. What a waste of the artist's skills made apparent on the Elf Queen sisters on this junk.I lost alot of the hope when the teacher forbade him from absorbing all those lizardmen bodies earlier, I feel like so many of these later battles would have been cake walks for the MC for her retarded reasoning back then.
