I think it's more like she can't anymore. The general plotline has changed severely from when it was a game by her existence, so whatever predictions she makes are almost always going to be wrong if she based it purely off the plotline.

After that "you haven't stolen anyone's life" line I'm starting to believe that theory about the current Lapis being the sister and the original Lapis was the one who died.

Yes,the problem is why does she look so identical to little Lapis,also I think she is the original because only the other girl had ability to see the future .
