Genre page "Sort by last uploaded" respects User language filter

As far as I can tell right now, the "Sort by last uploaded" filter on the Genre pages sorts by last uploaded in any language, even if it's a language the user has hidden from view. This can result in manga jumping to the top of the list even though the user's language has not had an update in months to years.

I have a feeling the answer is "not easily" but is there a way to alter that filter so that only chapters in the User's filtered languages are used to sort titles?
