@greatninja3 Yeah that's what I mean, I've seen multiple writers take the stance of magic or super powers wouldn't actually be useful at all. Even in this chapter the witch girl mentions that why would you need fire magic if you can just use a match, but there is convenience in not needing anything but your own two hands to start a fire and it'd be far more reliable. Obviously that's a minor example but the point still stands, at least I think it does.

I'm just saying the ability to spit literal fire is pretty godlike. You're basically creating energy at that point. The implications of that are limitless (far more so than basic electricity). More so if fire magic is further developed into say plasma. With enough research fire wizards could start making mini suns.
