This was... okay. The way the story ended up makes it's not as enjoyable to me.

Like, he helped her get together with another guy then proceeded to flirt with her ? The story would've been alot better if she didn't end up liking him. Poor Tanaka. He really lived up to his name of being a side character lmao.

The main guy came off as someone from /r/niceguys with his whole “I can treat her better than her current boyfriend” and even went so far as following them on a date and trying to one-up him with soccer.

Overall, I don’t regret reading it but it’s a bit cringey at parts.
