In an actual match, this is probably a yellow for unsporting conduct. But strictly by the rules:

• Volley-chan correctly throws it
• The goal isn't scored directly off the throw
• Ai-chan doesn't touch it with hands or arms.

So it should count technically.

I could be wrong, but I don't think keepers are allowed to steal balls from a dribble, it has to be from a shot. Ai was technically dribbling the ball and didn't take her 'shot' until she dropped it at the goal.

The same reason you can't just steal the ball from the thrower before they throw it. The throw itself has to be from outside the line but... Ai-chan didn't throw it at all. Of course in a real match, the ref wouldn't allow you to go more than a few step from the starting position. Then again, this is a internal school event so... yeah.
