So I went and googled up the fishing group and... huh. There is indeed a Chicago Fishing Club facebook page and it is in fact run by a guy named Rob. Also when I checked it they had recently shared a post from Juntaro (who fittingly has an anime girl pfp)

I googled Gene and Jude's hot dogs, myself, and it turns out that it's a real place and looks just like it did in the manga. This really is just a manga blog about real life with everyone replaced with cute girls.
