weird they think it could only be time travel, resurrection or world peace and not something far more negative like.. the world being destroyed

Probably because for example, world peace may ironically imply mass genocide/ human extinction. If there is no one who may fight a war, there is a world peace.

World destruction could be time travel. Who knows what may happen if time paradox is triggered.

And ressurection could be either zombie apocalypse, or messing up the afterlife world, if there is any (it's series about ghosts, so the probability is likely.)

it just strange everything could be spun positive or negative outcome, when every ghost encounter til now has only been negative

Yeah, there are a lot of negative outcomes so far. Though let's not forget the "Gargantuan Stomach" (the briefcase in Moka's possesion is also a ghost, which saved their lives twice already)
