It's RAINING and she wonders why they can't control the ball well? Plus according to Tatsumi they were playing narrow which shortens the playing space and makes them easier to press and for some reason ETU was playing possession football in the rain. Tatsumi's directive of having them play wider is spot on for the situation, which is nice to see. But it isn't hard to figure out if you've played football, i'm disappointed that our miss journalist can't notice that.

@KajurN The translation is a little awkward on pg. 17 but I think it's more like: she is aware of the rain problem, but wondering why pros like ETU aren't adapting to the rain sufficiently and wondering if there's something else going on. As you say, if you've played in the rain you know that the ball runs faster on the pitch and is harder to control, but you can accommodate for that with experience. ETU should know better than to be messing up like this, so why aren't they adjusting to the rain? I am sure next chapter will help answer our question

... Wait, he is just "not fighting with them"? Is that supposed to do something? Only idea I have is, they may think he's thinking about leaving the team and that would motivate them somehow.
