Yeah, I don't like it when slice-of-life stories dedicate too many chapters to drama so I'm fine with it ending like this. Especially since we have had Midori debating with herself if it was worth it to keep up the charade for a while now. I imagine the main reason she hadn't come clean until had nothing to do with her reasons for lying and stealing but more the fact that she was lying and stealing to begin with.
