Lmfao, yes, the most sublime stragegy of them all: Hit them with a stronger attack.

I turned to this slagpile because I literally had nothing else better to do, and I'm dropping it now. What a fucking waste of paper.

What a fucking shitty arc, stop it already.

This arc has nothing,
  • we don't learn anything about the characters (they are the same as in the "present time")
  • we don't learn anything about his capacity, the stakes are null
  • and the tactical aspect of the battle is as dumb as this manga (omg, a monster that absorb attacks, and regenerate itself. It's so hard what should we do ? We will use a card that I happen to have and say "can't be absorbed and prevent regeneration")

The only thing good is the drawings but it's wasted in this arc.

It actually makes sense, boss is constantly evolving around (elemental) magic, not any other attacks.
That is not unusual for RPG bosses.

And as someone in here also mentioned, it wasn't even venom. It was physical slime(which are famous in many stories to digest anything) mold, which the boss has no resistance nor learning ability against.

You don't have to like it, but no need to make it worse than it is... It's already cheese shounen enough.

While the premise isn't boring...
Making it card-based more or less turns the MC into a walking Deus Ex Machina in terms of story writing. Am I supposed to be cheering on the "bad guys" when MC can just pull a card out of thin air that is a hard counter? At some point they'll dig into the "card of a low level beats a max level" trope.

what's so special about this venom? why couldn't it just absorb it and become immune to it like all the other attacks? why would being devoured by it kill it if burning it into charcoal dust didn't kill it before? if it can regen from the smallest speck you're telling me not so much as a drop of blood or speck of skin was shaken off and unaffected by the venom?
Sounds like the Life-Eater virus bombs from Warhammer 40k.

Well that was an anticlimactic ending.
Still, Mei is pervert who loves her master.

That knuckled-fist probably means I did it/success or something along those lines... lmao

:pepehmm:
