These LN illustrations hit hard differently.
Even Garuu is literally a different beast.
Also, it seems Light's alternate name in the LN is Dark (as in katakana "da-ku"), instead of Kuro which means dark or black.
Maybe it was different in the manga or did the TL team applied their own literary freedom on it?
