lol the author is definitely stretching this out. she obviously would have shown the video of gift stealing his friend's paints before the crowd turned against her this much, but then the author wouldn't be able to stretch this dramatic obstacle out for so long.

Why does no one properly call her out?
-Recording without consent with malicious intent
-Bugging devices and eavesdropping
-Blackmail
-Sexual harassment
All of these are proper criminal acts. She's a shitty ass hypocrite and we as readers know it but the characters could have ripped her to shreds but they get caught up in her paper thin words.
