It’s to fat of a power up. Falls into a generic mass produced genre of op character. Atleast take some 10 chapters before having a proper power up like the rise of the shield hero. No wonder, the latter is so famous. Since its story is made patiently

Killing him ourselves is too cruel but abandoning him alone to a boss monster to die is fine. Ok.

Ten percent PER DAY? And a bunch of suckers that didn't understand the terms (even though they were assholes).

And it's premeditated, too! He knew the setup from the beginning! What was he gonna do if these guys were actually nice? It doesn't sound like he was thinking about the massive interest until it all came crashing down. Would doing a series of one day lend and returns (so the interest doesn't compound on itself) even occur to him?

Holy crap, full on villain protagonist here. Loan sharks have their representation.

The author's buddy really should have returned that thing that they borrowed a long time ago. The existence of this manga is a thinly veiled threat.

It's 10% every 10 days. Also I imagine that if his party had been nice he would have let them keep the skills indefinitely
