Thank you for continuing to translate this series! I'm sad that we most likely won't get to see Gordon or Eria again. This chapter makes it seem like they have been effectively written out of the story. I was actually kind of hoping that we'd see some kind of redemption for them after they came to realize their mistakes.

Maybe we'll see them make a cameo in later chapters? Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Tina shows up further down the line as we haven't seen her at all since her skills were taken.

There was barely any Tina cameos from checking the chapters with the gang, but she does say she was directed to ther location by MC, so she might've appeared very few times, but only reunites with them at the end.

The characters do make a comeback and join the main story on the last arc of the WN, so they're def semi-important too (arc 3. them leaving the city was the end of arc 1, and they reappeared very quickly. I kinda liked what I read about their shenanigans, tho gtranslate does mangle some details)

Don't know how I feel about Eria. With her intelligence, she was an uptight bitch who was the first to suggest killing MC once she figured out how his skill works.
But after losing her skills and intelligence, she became a dumb but innocent and kinda sweet girl truly reflecting her age. Now because of that dick, she was chased after scientific madmen and perverts alike to the point where she pretty much became a begger.
I disliked the previous her, but feel bad for the current one.

Actually surprised the former saint wasn't the one people came after due to her looks.

Gotta give credit where it is due, Gordon did his best to protect the now childlike Eria even in their state of powerlessness. And his biggest reason on not killing Alka is.... Reasonable I guess. They have been disgraced and shunned, if they kill one another, who will protect the one who more or less reverted to a child.
They were scum and hopefully this is a lesson for them to be better.

as much has he is a dumbass this is the one point where what altra says is correct. that guild is absolutely hypocrites for just ignoring the poor treatment of MC and only blowing up after there is a problem.

also unless im misunderstanding something there isnt much reason for the town to get mad about his party conquering the dungeon. that was the goal after all and they should know that a dungeon collapses when its conquered (based off the fact that they send miners in shortly after.) That dungeon was eventually gonna be conquered by a party anyway so i dont get the reason why they are mad that his party did it. they are adventurers too (aka independent mercs) so its not like the actions of him being a dumbass would just magically taint the town either. nor where his actions (publicly) that bad even. he only made a fool of himself in a showing to a lord that wouldnt impact the town much esp when its the lord that specifically called altras party to show (and even saw the good side of the backup party helping when shit went awry.
i dunno just doesnt make much sense to me but then again there is alotta stupid shit in this mango so ill just stop thinking about it

also id like to purchase eria pls. she a good girl when she isnt giga smart

From the sounds of it, either other parties purposely avoided conquering the dungeon so that they can forever milk it or they just lazy fucks who aren't good enough to take on other dungeons so they clung to that one and despite not having that safe space anymore don't want to move to make money elsewhere.

Either way it's crooks finger pointing at another crook claiming how he stole from them.

Ego death, mind reset, or just utter depression combined with a loss of memory (of magic) and comprehension ability... She is like a reincarnation who inherit parts of past life memory, I suppose.

Bad thing she had done isn't magically erased, so, karma still work its way, and her past actions are still being held accountablet. But, this is the path of redemption, not total annihilation. Just like your average sympathetic villian, it is OK that you feel bad for them post-karma, that's what you are supposed to.

She is the only one with a shred of moral in the party back then after all.

She seems to be someone who started out good, then slowly being corrupted to the point of being blinded to her own evil, and the skill loss send her into depression, then self-reflection.
