Author wrote himself into a corner ignoring his own universe's rules and cooking up artificial drama. Then the whole thing falls apart when they have to go and try to unwind it.

So they fall back on "it was all a dream" plots or other such ludicrous Deus Ex Machina. This is incredibly common in amateur author works. And it's disappointing to see it happen. Especially when they spend dozens of chapters meticulously detailing the barbaric actions of villains. Then try cleaning up the resolution with a simple "the isekai police arrested them. the end".

Nobody would care about incapacitating him, then torturing him. Nobody would care about chopping off all his limbs and subjecting him to the same exploitation the dwarven women faced, after he was incapacitated. It's only in author's tiny little head any of this makes sense, and is frustrating to read.

I am greatly appreciative of the TL. I just wish the source material wasn't written by a chuuni.

Aside from the stellar art, I'll have to admit that this series is full of problems.
The main cast is otherwise likeable, but that's it. This arc had an interesting setup, and it's now gone on for so long that it's stretched itself thin, adding layers upon layers of "But wait, there's more" to itself to keep things going.

Still, it's at least been an enjoyable read, so I appreciate the author's and Silas's efforts for getting it out there!
