@criver pretty sure gin is meant to be trans, and the author is putting things like this in as foreshadowing that on a subconscious level gin thinks of herself as a woman. If that makes sense.

@EvelynIsGone So him not making sense actually makes sense in the context of the plot? You are probably right. The overreaction still felt ridiculous, especially since the guy that asked him out remained fairly civil.

@criver Yeah, even with possibly being trans, that scene can also be explained by Gin's tendency to super overreact. In the first chapter when Ogura (i forgot her name) saw Gin taking a selfie and Gin noticed it, Gin ran away, went home, and then rolled on the floor banging into the walls screaming "MY LIFE IS OVER AAAAAAA" before passing out and then later, going out again, this time with a full wig and makeup, that very night. So Gin being really angry about being hit on at an unexpected time isn't quite out of character.
