I'm gotta go with: when she saw him getting interested she decided to put him down, her pitch wasn't anything serious, since them "dating" only means she would be entitled to stop him from ogling Ooki's boobs and not actually date him, something Katagiri does without a relationship. All in all she just wanted to insult him, when he let his guard down.
