Hmm I can see that both their parentd's relationship is unbalanced from the start. Her dad gives too much, her mom recieves too much. I can kinda understand where the dad comes from. After all, pampering someone for years can be tiring, although it doesn't excuse his infidelity. Should have talked it down.

wow both of her parents are shit....yikes....
like the previous comment said, it was always an unusual balance. The mom always got everything while the dad was always giving. But the way dad ended things was way too cruel....ik he must have gotten tired of always papering her he should have tried to at least communicate it or something
but also the mom. ik she just lost her husband but what kind of a mother asks her own child to be unhappy? she is no mother and should be ashamed.

As all of you already said, she was a “woman child”, that kind of persons who can’t live nor do anything by themselves, like a child. So I get the father who wanted to divorce. But you can divorce from your wife, not from your children, you a**hole!! He’s just too pathetic while she’s mentally sick at this point. In these cases if there isn’t a family who can properly taking care of the child the state should do something 💔

She wasn't asking Eunjo to be unhappy. In a previous chapter, she says that Eunjo's eyes were inherited from her father. When she saw her daughter, she thought that it was her husband, probably due to a combination of alcohol + mental issues. She was telling her husband to not be happy, not Eunjo herself.

@ktensei You have a point there. I suppose she did mean to say that to the father but at the same time, she is no mother. I feel so bad for her, I really do. But to ruin another child, is not it....
