The game will allow you to pick choice and actually have commander deal with stuff in later chapter/events.

I too dissatisfied because the commander literally felt like 1 dimensional person unlike some other Protagonist in game until i follow future spoiler

This chapter was good in showing people about different types of guns in the game. The story is also better than night chapter story in the game. But the echelon isn't that consistent, or is there any explanation for that.
The first was echelon 2. If I have to explain, other soldier act as vanguard for the sniper, include machine gun.
But later, we see sniper and machine gunner going in pair. I think sniper moving to high place in the prepare phase would be more reasonable than moving around with other girls.
And there is the echelon 3. Overall, only C96 has a highlight, as echelon 3 was waiting for the time, and only she does something different and helpful for the team.
(I have to notice this because of the chapter 5)
