Ehh, senshado is just a backdrop for the story, rather than the story itself. You can't think too hard about how these tiny girls with twig-like arms are handling heavy machinery and munitions, or how some tanks get bombarded so heavily that the pressure/shockwave would turn the occupants into paste.
