To me she's a country bumpkin / chuuni coded vampire. I'd need to see other vampires to learn how out of the norm she is though. For all we know whatever made vampires comply with rules to protect humans has left them all recluses who are a bit off when they do wander out into public.

I'm surprised how fast this gets translated, the official post on X/Twitter was only hours before it got translated and posted here.
Also it's amazing how much more popular this manga seems to be on western pirate sites, than it is on official Japanese channels, as it has 41k bookmarks here, and double digit comment count on every chapter, while only getting one or two comments on the official account with 18k followers.

To be fair, Ruruna is specially dense, uniquely so you might say, given the sheer smoothness of her brain it's a surprise she can talk at all, more so that she is able to hold a conversation!
