Chapter 8 just instantly made this manga 10x better lol
There was the implication before that being turned instantly and permanently changes one's cognition to have inherent love and devotion towards one's sire, and that Wakana's feelings and attitude for Ruruna were the result of this. But this chapter proves that that isn't the case, and that Wakana really is just that way and her feelings are genuine. Love it lol

Yeah right now I hope they cap the "followers" at 2 or 3 with Wakana x Ruruna as the main pair with the others just kinda roped in for fun. imo harem stories are best when there's a relatively small number of characters who all get developed really well and have good chemistry with each other rather than a super bloated cast with a new flavor of the week being introduced every few episodes and as soon as you develop an attachment to someone they take a back seat to whatever new thing comes along.
