I think part of that is because this is a culture thing, tbh. Something about not being to nosey in others' business, especially if Komomo and Megumi JUST met the woman in question. It's also very cliché, ngl, to build it up for a reveal that "omg, so this is THAT one person" (for Marika and Megumi).

Also, not ill faith on Marika, but... girl. Girl. Your way of thinking is also too damn chiiiiildish... and all of that in mind of a goddamn childish promise of "marrying" and you don't even see the guy as frequent as you would expect (living in two different countries) ever since, that promise and crush thing has been dead in the water for all I would care???

I WOULD understand having feelings resurface if you never cleared up your feelings about the person, but... GIRL.
