They say the best written villains are hard to even label as villains. Be it their motives, origins, etc, they make such a compelling character that it's hard to find fault with them, leading many to sympathize with or even go so far as to say they did nothing wrong.

Ikeuchi is NONE of that.

He's probably the most underwhelming, pathetic, disappointing villain I've ever seen. The girl he liked but didn't have the balls to approach didn't like him back, so the whole world has to be as miserable as he is for it. Right from his introduction, he's made out to be a pathetic victim of someone else's (lack of) feelings, which just continues to build until he thinks the whole world should burn for it.

Good riddance.

Is someone holding the author at gunpoint and forcing him to continue this story? This shit should've ended when they killed the necromancer dude, the story ever since he died has felt like when a movie does really well and the hollywood executives force the studio to make an awkward and unnecessary sequel.

The epitome of bad writing.

Bullshit power pulled out of their asses without an actual build up, like the angelic wings are so random? A shallow end boss without a context, no background, no proper motivation and random powerups.

Good thing this is going to end. At least the art is decent.

5/10 ngl.

Could care less what other hard ass readers will say about how it all started in the beginning chapters. It was interesting, it had a weird premise going for it, and I'll admit liking the mystery of the original group, and how this all went to hell. No shit it dragged at times, but I wasn't the least bored with it. The half way point was showing the steam running out, and could have ended sooner, if it wasn't for the shit set up with Voyeur boy Ikeuchi here. At this point, just wanna see my bittersweet ending, and put this read to rest.

Ive always been a defensor of this manga, i believe that maybe this twist villain wasnt going to ruin the story, maybe the author knew what he was doing, he didnt, i dont care if this guy was set up a long time ago, that doesnt make him any less disappointing, my god author, you should have forgotten him, i sincerely hope that he wasnt just an excuse to not kill the mc, actually why is this manga even called gleipnir if the protag didnt really seal anyone, i swear if the author makes it so that the power of the glasses guy goes berserk and repeats the sealing thing again, i am going to punch someone.

This guy is beyond annoying, that freakin' lameass back story as a villain. And a very anticlimactic ending of him. There were many other villains from other story that made me hate them, but because precisely they did a villain thing.
But this guy...., this guy is annoying just because he is annoying.

...IDK. the fucking voyeur being the ultimate "fuck you" to everything everyone was fighting for feels kinda deserved because, unlike everyone else's reason for wanting to be destroy the world, it felt like the most bastard and petty motivation for it. Which works for how selfless our protagonist is, to have someone so delusional and egotistical to be the one who actually confront him in the end.

If only they actually had him running around the background, hiding cowardly from everyone, and we could have seen him biding his time, it would feel a lot better when he appear to fuck everything up, but he didn't and christ the author can be felt running on fumes with how everything plays out instead. An interesting idea done way too late, and way too clumsily at that.

In other stuff, the mix of black and blond hair in the MCs' combined form after the sister gives them her power is cool, and the angel wings I guess is because of that too because they're bringing hope? Whatever, works for how the author is trying to play all that, but now we have to wait and see what they're actually going to do. Feels weird to think that banishing the fucker actually clears the fake Honoka's whatever that remains in the world, but if the power of the three together manages to do so, they well fucking deserve it with all that has happened by now.

And if not, our boy still has the chance to be the Gleipnir after all...

Honestly, I don't even know what the fuck is going on anymore. 😅 And don't really care either, just want to know how it's ends.

Best peak about this manga is when MC complete transformation with cat girl after that everything just went downhill.
