The whole reveal your identities threat doesn't really work in the real world. If someone saw someone transform into a monster right in front of them and tried to blackmail them. It wouldn't work if that monster had half a brain cell. No one is going to believe a person claming that monsters exists. Even if they got it on camera or video. That's just how fictional monsters are to us as humans. A work of fiction, something that can't exist in reality.
